(40 and 41 years old) and an 18-year-old female staff member suspected of providing customers with rapid test sticks with negative results, and then charged with "attempting to mislead police officers" and violating the "Prevention and Control of Diseases (Requirements and Instructions) ( Business and Premises) Regulations (Cap. 599F) to arrest them.
In the bar involved, a female customer surnamed Xie (25 years old) was suspected of showing other people's negative rapid test sticks to the officers and was also arrested for "attempting to mislead police officers"; a male customer surnamed Li (22 years old) was arrested. Failure to show proof of negative rapid test sticks is fined.
At the same time, officers also inspected a number of liquor licenses and catering premises in the district, and found a male customer surnamed You (21) who showed the officers another person's electronic pin card. He was also arrested for "attempting to mislead police officers".
All arrested persons are being detained for investigation.
