Damascus-SANA
Temperatures remain 3 to 5 degrees below their average as a result of the country being affected by a shallow air depression from the southeast accompanied by a weak extension of an air depression in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The General Directorate of Meteorology expected in its morning bulletin that the weather will be between clear and partly cloudy, turning to cloudy at times, with the opportunity still ripe for thunder showers of rain, especially over the coastal and northwestern region of the country. The weather will be relatively cold in general with high humidity during the early morning hours. In the mountainous heights and the southwestern and central regions, the winds will be westerly moderate, with active gusts exceeding 60/km per hour, and the sea is light to medium waves.
