The leader of the "Shubu Benim" community and the sex offender, Eliezer Berland, who received special permission to leave Israel in order to stay in Uman in Ukraine for the coming Rosh Hashanah - was blocked at the country's border on Thursday, and the Ukrainians prevented his entry.
His associates claim that officials in other Hasidic communities in Breslav paid bribes to Ukrainians and forged documents against him.
Now, they are working to allow his entry, but Berland's arrival in the country this coming holiday is highly doubtful.
According to other sources, videos and recordings from Berland's classes speaking against the country and President Zelensky regarding the war with Russia were transferred to Ukraine.

About three weeks ago, the Jerusalem District Court allowed Berland to leave the country and fly to Oman.
The court agreed to the request of Berland's lawyers to freeze the departure delay order against him, thus allowing him to fly to Ukraine for Rosh Hashanah.
Berland will deposit guarantees in the amount of NIS 650,000, including about NIS 200,000 in cash.
According to estimates, a total of between 5,000 and 10,000 Hasidim will arrive from Israel and other countries, and they will enter Ukraine through countries such as Poland, Romania and Moldova that border it.
This is a significantly lower number than every year, but in Israel they fear this and are expected to call again next week for Hasidic to avoid flying to Rabbi Nachman's grave in the Ukrainian town.
