At the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva, Ambassador Husam El-Din Ala, the art exhibition of the Syrian expatriate artist Mofeed Hanna was opened in Switzerland, which included various paintings that reflect the Syrian civilization and cultural heritage.
Ambassador Ala commended the activity of the expatriate sons of Syria and the role of the cultural, social and economic events they hold in contributing to presenting a bright image of their mother country and introducing its ancient history and rich civilization.
He affirmed the interest of the Permanent Mission and Consulate General of the Syrian Arab Republic in Geneva to enhance communication with the members of the community and to support all their national activities on Swiss soil.
The opening of the exhibition, along with the Syrian community, was attended by a number of representatives of Arab diplomats and Minister Counselor at the Permanent Mission Jaber Shammout.
