Cyril Féraud: ““100% logical, the answer is before your eyes” puts the family on an equal footing”

2022-09-24T05:21:54.125Z

After “Le Quiz des champions”, the host of “Slam” launches a new game in prime time on France 2 with one hundred candidates. Adapted from a British format, it tests players' common sense.

One hundred candidates seated on the bleachers of an arena each have a tablet and a pot of €1,000.

They answer questions using their sense of observation, common sense and logic.

All the puzzles of "100% logic, the answer is under your eyes" at 9:10 p.m. on France 2 have previously been tested with a panel of French people.

The first question corresponds to a success rate of 95% of our compatriots and so on until the last, the most difficult, solved by only 1% of the French.

Cyril Féraud specifies:

“The candidates play over several rounds, sometimes with jokers or Le Passe (to pass their turn) but each time a player leaves the game, they donate the €1,000 from their kitty, thus making the final winner's account grow. , potentially up to €100,000.

A huge sum!”

A Frenchified British game

Standing in the center of a vast luminous arena, Cyril Féraud dialogues with the candidates who appear in red if their answer is correct but merge into blue if they are eliminated.

“Produced by BBC Studios France, this British game has been Frenchified”

, explains the presenter of “Slam” and “La carte aux trésors” on France 3.

“Presented by a mocking and ferocious humorist, the original show (“The 1% Club”, Editor's note) does not spare the players.

For my part, I keep my benevolent tone.

I take the time to introduce the candidates when I ask them about their logical approach.

This sometimes gives surreal explanations!

Everyone really has their own way of thinking and solving puzzles, it's extremely fun.

Some players do not know how to rationally explain the process that led them to the correct answer or the opposite, they give the wrong answer when their thought process was good at the start

.

From 8 to 80 years old

Cyril Féraud continues:

“As the title suggests, the answer is really in front of the players' eyes.

At home, an 8-10 year old child has as much chance of succeeding as an 80 year old person since

“100% logic, the answer is in front of your eyes”

calls on common sense and a sense of observation.

The answer is sometimes even visible in the question!

A child can spot a deliberate mistake in a statement, see an anomaly more quickly in the game of errors, play with colors or sounds.

Neither general culture quiz nor IQ test, the game puts all members of the family on an equal footing

.

Three guests play the game and lend themselves to the justification of their right or wrong answers.

They do not earn anything but happily accompany the candidates by encouraging them.

Their logical approach sometimes turns out to be the most fanciful.

During this first broadcast, two actor-scriptwriters are brought together, Isabelle Vitari (Karine from the series

Our dear neighbors

;

(Almost) perfect love

)

and Noom Diawara (the “ideal” son-in-law from the film

What do we have? still made to the good God?;

Love

on the spot or to take away

) as well as Caroline Margeridon, the dynamic buyer of the daily auction, "Affaire concluded", on France 2.

How about "100% logic"?

France 2 launches an extremely nice game.

Ordered just before the Covid period, its filming had been delayed.

The magnificent XXL board shakes up the visual signature of daytime game shows.

Cyril Féraud takes up a real challenge.

He not only has to juggle the sheets of one hundred numbered candidates but also performs the show for 2h15.

Riddles with a low success rate among the French sometimes look more like IQ tests than simple common sense questions, but who cares!

Four programs have already been recorded.

The next one, Saturday October 1, will bring together Alex Vizorek, Anne Roumanoff and Nelson Monfort.

None engenders melancholy!
