Mobilization is not weakening in Iran.
More than a week after the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini after her arrest by vice police, Iranian authorities have arrested 739 people, including 60 women, in the north of the country.
They are accused of taking part in demonstrations, state media said on Saturday.
In the province of Guilan (north), “739 rioters, including 60 women, were arrested”, announced the chief of the police of the province, general Azizollah Maleki, quoted by the Tasnim agency.

"State television announced on Friday evening that the death toll in the recent riots in the country has risen to 35 people," Borna News, the news agency linked to Iran's Sports Ministry, reported on Saturday.
Heavy toll
Thursday, the same television had reported the death of 17 people during these demonstrations, the authorities denying any involvement in this violence.

But the toll is likely to be much heavier, the opposition NGO Iran Human Rights (IHR), based in Oslo, reporting Friday at least 50 dead in the repression by the security forces of the demonstrations.
Mahsa Amini, 22, was arrested on September 13 in Tehran for "wearing inappropriate clothes" by police charged with enforcing the Islamic Republic's strict dress code.
