The Syrian Telecom Company, the Quneitra branch, increased the internet package allocated to the governorate from 4 gigabits / s to 10 gigabits / s, in addition to allocating the governorate with 1664 new Internet gates distributed to its communication centers.
The Director of Quneitra Communications, Eng. Adnan Al-Bakr, told SANA reporter about the implementation of projects that contribute to improving the telephone service, including the installation of 1,221 new internet gates, in addition to the plan, and 960 new telephone numbers during the current year.
Al-Bakr added that a photovoltaic access unit was installed and tested in the village of Ovania with a capacity of 512 telephone numbers with internet service, and the rehabilitation of the landline telephone network for the villages of Hamidiya, Al-Samdania Al-Gharbiya, Al-Hurriya, and the rehabilitation of the telephone network in the Bir Ajam center serving the villages of Kodna, Ruwayhina, and Zubaydah Al-Gharbiya.
According to Al-Bakr, the construction of the Qusaiba Communication Center has also been rehabilitated, which serves 10 communities and a number of its farms with a capacity of 1,832 telephone numbers, in addition to extending the optical cable between Nabaa al-Sakhr Center and Qusayba Center with a length of 13 km.
