This year the Isar-Loisachtal holiday pass celebrated its 40th anniversary.

This is how the offer was received by the kids in the district this summer.

Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen – School started again a few days ago, the summer holidays are over.

Time to take stock of the Isar-Loisachtal holiday pass.

Holiday pass: Usual offer again this year after the pandemic

After there was a slimmed-down version of the holiday pass in the past two years due to Corona, this year the children and young people in the district were able to look forward to the usual, extensive program booklet.

The organizers Evi Zimmert and Monika Holzheuer from the Kreisjugendring (KJR) are pleased that the demand for places at all events was "enormously high".

Circulation increased at short notice due to high demand

Because it was already clear from the pre-orders for the anniversary holiday pass (he is celebrating his 40th birthday this year, we reported) that there will be high demand this year, the planned edition of 4000 was increased by a further 550 at short notice, they write Organizers in a press release.

In addition, the KJR gave 1000 free holiday passes for all refugee children in the district.

"The district youth council plans that in the future holders of a social card with benefits will also be considered," says Holzheuer.

For this year, that was not feasible in a hurry because the focus was on the refugees.

The magazine was published this year in a new layout

This year, for the first time since 2019, there was a comprehensive, printed booklet listing all events.

What was new was that a QR code was printed next to each event, which you had to scan for further information on the respective event.

"In the beginning there were a few questions about how it works," says Holzheuer.

"Overall, however, it went smoothly.

Thanks to the new layout, the information overload is no longer so great.”

Survey program: pottery, magic workshop, climbing

After Corona, an extensive program could be offered again this year.

According to the organizers, the riding technique training with the mountain bike, the magic workshop, fun and games with the dog, the fun alpine school on the Brauneck, climbing in the climbing forest and the alpine sightseeing flights with a motor plane were very popular.

But also pottery, action painting, spraying graffiti or the wood workshop were very well attended.

Bus trips could also be carried out again this year, for example to Legoland, the Skyline Park and the salt mine.

Thanks to the subsidy from the district, the day trips could be offered at a lower price than usual.

40 year holiday pass: Two additional events free of charge for this occasion

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary, the KJR raffled places for two additional free events.

16 children were able to experience an exciting day at the mountain rescue service in Benediktbeuern, another 25 children an ecologically guided rubber dinghy tour.

The two events were funded by the Bavarian Youth Council with the "Bavarian Action Plan for Young People" of the Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Labor and Social Affairs.

A total of 2185 boys and girls have registered on the online portal.

643 events took place this year.

Compared to the previous year, 45 percent more children have registered for events.
