Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stressed that the unipolar model that meets the interests of Western elites has become a thing of the past, and the world today is witnessing the birth of a new world order that we seek to be free of Nazism and colonialism.

Lavrov explained that the unipolar model that served the interests of the West and the golden billion theory saved its excessive consumption for centuries at the expense of the resources of Asia, Africa and Latin America is leaving today to become a thing of the past, pointing out that today there are sovereign countries that are ready to defend their national interests and are working to form a multipolar and stable structure Equal rights and oriented towards what Washington and the ruling elites in Western countries see as a threat to their hegemonic position.
Lavrov warned that the West's mistakes undermine confidence in the ability of international organizations and international law to protect the weak from the strong at a time when the international security situation is rapidly deteriorating due to the West's practices such as misinformation, rude plays and provocations, instead of honest dialogue and the search for solutions.
Lavrov indicated that Washington wants to turn the globe into a back garden and is fighting its opponents through illegal unilateral sanctions that have been adopted for many years in violation of the United Nations Charter, as it uses these sanctions as a tool for political blackmail, considering them "moral decadence" because it affects the civilian population and prevents them from reaching to basic commodities including medicines, vaccines and foodstuffs.
Lavrov pointed out that Washington and Brussels exacerbated the tense situation by declaring an economic war against Russia, which resulted in an increase in world prices for food, fertilizers, oil and gas, pointing out that the financial and logistical obstacles created by the United States and the European Union in front of Russian grain and fertilizer exports were not completely removed, in addition to the seizure of 300,000 tons. of fertilizers in European ports that Russia has long offered to transport free of charge to African countries in need but the European Union does not want to do so.
Lavrov said that the West was outraged by the referendums in Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Kherson, while the referendum was a response to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky's call for the Russians to leave Ukraine, indicating that Ukraine for the West is nothing but a consumable substance in the war against Russia, which NATO declared a direct threat to hegemony. The United States has identified China as a long-term strategic challenge.
Lavrov explained that Washington and its allies are turning multilateral bodies into a tool to achieve their selfish interests, as this trend is inculcated in the United Nations, its Human Rights Council, UNESCO and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, which are making malicious and angry attempts to prevent the establishment of a transparent working mechanism within the Biological and Toxic Weapons Convention for hundreds of The Pentagon's military biological programs around the world including along the Russian borders and throughout Europe and Asia.
Lavrov called for the need to protect the United Nations and keep it away from all clashes and restore its reputation as a platform for honest discussions to find a balance in the interest of all member states, to work actively to settle regional conflicts as one of the priority tasks, to overcome the stalemate in establishing an independent Palestinian state, to restore Iraq and Libya, which were destroyed by NATO aggression, and to stop Threats to the sovereignty of Syria and the establishment of a sustainable process of national reconciliation in Yemen and overcoming the difficult legacy of NATO in Afghanistan, pointing out that Russia is striving to revive the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action for the Iranian nuclear program in its original form.
