Leung Hongzheng said that the government has been committed to promoting the development of Hong Kong youth in the Greater Bay Area. In order to encourage companies with mainland business to hire Hong Kong university students, the "Greater Bay Area Youth Employment Scheme" has been launched. At the same time, other entrepreneurial funding schemes, internship schemes and exchange groups have been set up. , to promote Hong Kong youth to experience and understand the real situation of the mainland workplace, work culture and development opportunities, and to communicate with mainland youth to enhance their national identity.

Several participants of the “Greater Bay Area Youth Employment Scheme” shared their experience in employment and entrepreneurship in the Mainland, and made suggestions, including regularization of the programme, strengthening of living and employment support, popularization of workplace culture in the Mainland, mutual recognition of practicing qualifications between the two places, and internships Diversification of positions, increasing opportunities for primary and secondary school students to visit the Mainland, etc.
