They have been standing ready for use at Habererplatz in Miesbach for some time, but now the starting shot was given on Friday: the new charging stations for e-vehicles are officially open.
Together with Josef Lipp, team leader for new business areas at Energie Südbayern (ESB), the car dealership sponsors Bettina and Markus Weiß, Martin Weingärtner, Christian Schmid, Martin Pötzinger and the city council members Hedwig Schmid, Petra Six, third mayor Franz Mayer, Manfred Burger, Paul Fertl and Erhard Pohl, Mayor Gerhard Braunmiller released the new facility.
As reported, ESB insisted on a construction cost subsidy from the city of 10,000 euros, which six sponsors took over on the initiative of the city.
In addition to those present, the Eder car dealership and the Brummi Fit (Heid) company are also part of it.
They are also noted on the sponsor board at the facility.
Sign for electromobility
Mayor Gerhard Braunmiller was delighted with the new pillars - after all, it is the seventh station in the city area: "We want to set an example and show that the municipality is actively involved in shaping the topic of electromobility."
Two fast and two normal loaders
The four charging stations are divided into two fast and two normal chargers.
While the latter can deliver up to 120 kilowatts and fill a vehicle in up to an hour, it takes much longer in normal mode, Lipp explained.
He also thanked the city, which made the area available free of charge, and the sponsors for supporting the construction.
Charge and park for free
The electricity charge is paid for by card, which every e-car owner receives from a provider and can therefore use different stations.
Parking is free in Miesbach during the charging process.
And even those who stand longer should not get a ticket.
But beware: you should not overdo it.
Because the flow of electricity is controlled, and blocked charging stations can be reported to the city.
