The US space agency, NASA, today postponed the launch of its new rocket to the moon as part of the experimental mission (Artemis 1) due to the formation of a storm.
"The teams decided to abandon preparations for take-off today to allow the systems to be prepared to transport the missile to the assembly building," the agency said, adding that the final decision to withdraw the missile would be taken tomorrow to allow more data and analysis to be collected as the weather forecast became clearer. Operation late tomorrow or early Monday morning.
The launch of the rocket was canceled at the beginning of this month at the last minute due to the leakage of liquid hydrogen while filling the tanks with this fuel, but the US space agency announced this week that it had successfully tested the process of refueling the new rocket.
