Two Iraqi soldiers were wounded today while participating in a security operation to thwart a terrorist attack in the Tarmiyah area, north of the capital, Baghdad.
Alsumaria News quoted an Iraqi security source as saying that two soldiers were wounded while repelling an attack by the terrorist organization (ISIS) in the Tarmiyah area.
Baghdad Operations Commander Major General Ahmed Salim said in a statement, "A terrorist group tried to approach the vicinity of the capital, Baghdad, and our forces confronted it in the Al-Bohousa orchard in the Tarmiyah area, killing three of its members and forcing the rest to flee," stressing that the Baghdad Operations forces continued to search and cleanse the Tarmiyah orchards of any presence. terrorist.
