The people of Israel are sitting down tonight (Sunday) to mark the New Year, 2015, and the world leaders did not ignore the holiday either and sent Happy New Year wishes and words of support to Jews in general and Israel in particular.
The new Prime Minister of Great Britain, Liz Truss, who according to a report last week is considering moving the embassy to Jerusalem, published a video on her Twitter account: "This is a moment of renewal, as Prime Minister I promise to protect the Jewish community. I am determined to eradicate anti-Semitism. I promise to be a loyal friend of Israel. I will always be by your side. Happy New Year."
