New Year's greeting from President Yitzhak Herzog (spokesperson of the President's House)
Our dear and beloved people of Israel in the new year's spread, the year of the New Year, the heart opens to the new path we see before our eyes. The sound of the blowing of the shofar cuts through the air, and the fresh autumn wind of late Elul, the month of mercy and forgiveness, carries with it hopes and expectations for the days to come.
These Days of soul-searching, in which we ask ourselves, what we want to leave behind us, and what we want to take with us for the rest of the way.

May my beloveds grant that the Hebrew year that awaits her around the corner will be a year of silence, of joy, of health, of stability, of peace and tranquility, of security and togetherness.
May we learn to throw away, and leave behind us the hatred and the fear;
Let's establish our acquaintance with the other, the mutual respect, the guarantee between everyone.
Even during the election period that challenges our cohesion, we will learn to embrace the differences from a respectful discourse, and without rejecting, God forbid, the deep and eternal truth, which is eternal within us, that we are sisters and brothers;
that all the challenges that are yet to come, we are destined to succeed with each other, with each other, together.
May the next year be good for us, it will simply be a great year, a year of joy and happiness for all of us.
"May the year and its curses end, may the year and its blessings begin" Happy New Year to all the dear people of Israel.
