As you may remember, 22-year-old Amini, who became a symbol of the Iranian protest, was arrested by the modesty police of the Revolutionary Guards for wearing the hijab "too loosely".

The protest that is raging these days, and has claimed at least dozens of victims, has been nicknamed the "Hijab Protest". Amini's cousin is a political activist who lives in Iraq.

Diplomatic deterrence

In the meantime - alongside suppressing the riots with violence - the Iranian regime started what appears to be a diplomatic campaign.

The ambassadors of Great Britain and Norway were summoned to reprimand talks for "hostile coverage" and "interference" in what is happening in the country.

This was published in the semi-official news agency ISNA.

Making muscles against the West.

President of Iran Raisi,

The Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abd Allahian, summoned the British Ambassador Begin, due to the "hostile coverage in the media".

The Norwegian ambassador was summoned due to the "intervention" of the speaker of the parliament, who expressed support for the protesters on the Twitter account.
