“Impunity on the move”: feminists trap Gérald Darmanin during a trip to Versailles

The Minister of the Interior was welcomed on Saturday by members of the Ibiza collective wearing a T-shirt on which was written: "It's going

Last February, the little phrase caused a stir.

"Calm down ma'am, it's going to be fine", had launched the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin to the journalist Apolline de Malherbe on RMC, after an incisive question on security.

" I beg your pardon ?

reacted the interviewer, before repeating, outraged: “Pause.

Oh.

I beg your pardon, how do you talk to me?

This "It's going to be fine", the members of the Ibiza collective have made a slogan of it.

Traveling to Versailles (Yvelines) on Saturday, Gérald Darmanin was trapped by feminists posing as supporters.

A young man, for example, approached the minister to take a photo before unbuttoning his shirt and revealing a T-shirt on which was written: “It will be fine.

Darmanin, impunity on the move.

Several women sporting the same T-shirt ironically applauded him.

An activist also approached the Minister of the Interior on another issue: “I really wanted to thank you for your action on violence against women.

I do like you, a pipe against a service.

It's really great…” he said.

A remark not at all appreciated by Gérald Darmanin: “

It is defamatory.

Plus it's recorded.

You know very well that I am going to sue you.

I will sue you, sir,” he promises.

This is not the first time that the Minister of the Interior has taken legal action on this subject, notes La Voix du Nord: in April 2022, a man had been sentenced for contempt to a fine of 1,500 euros for having called a "dirty rapist".

In July, a Parisian investigating judge ordered a dismissal in favor of Gérald Darmanin, accused of rape since 2017. This decision closes this very politically sensitive case in which the complainant accused the Minister of the Interior of rape, sexual harassment and breach of trust for facts that allegedly occurred in Paris in 2009.

Activists and a Jean-Michel Blanquer lookalike parody the minister's vacation in Ibiza

The Ibiza Collective stood out in January 2022 by making fun of the then Minister of Education, Jean-Michel Blanquer, who had revealed to the Parisian the health protocol in schools from his vacation spot, in Ibiza (this that we did not know at the time of the interview), the day before the start of the school year.
