An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale hit Kerman, southeastern Iran.
The assistant head of the emergency authority in Kerman province, Mehrdad Karimi, said: "The tremor did not result in any material losses or loss of life or property."
An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale hit Hormozgan Province, southern Iran, on the fifth of this month.
