This was told to Corriere della Sera by Tiziano Luconi, father of Mattia, 8 years old, overwhelmed by the Nevola flood on the evening of September 15 and found dead eight days later in a field in Trecastelli (Ancona) 13 km away from the point in which, together with their mother Silvia, who was saved, they had come out of a car window, dragged by the river, which was filling up with water.
After the terrible pain for the sudden loss of his son, there is also the moment of anger for Tiziano who lives in Barbara (Ancona).
"Suddenly - he confides - I felt the need to call a lawyer friend of mine: we will present a complaint to the prosecutor".
Two files are already open by the Public Prosecutor of Ancona (for the crimes of multiple manslaughter and culpable flooding) and Urbino (culpable flooding) for the lack of alarms and other possible responsibilities.
The initiative of the complaint, he explains, also to avoid that "other parents mourn the death of their children. Why did the alert not go off? - asks Titian - In Arcevia and Cantiano they were already under water at 19.20".
