With 82 events, 31 companies, 450 artists, the “Le Temps d'aimer” dance festival brought together nearly 30,000 spectators this year.
Never seen.
While the small town of Biarritz remained the epicenter of the festival, many shows took place in other towns in the Basque Country.
Its audience brings together people from all walks of life, like a programming with assumed eclecticism.
For ten days, both young hip-hop addicts and bourgeois fond of neoclassical music rubbed shoulders.

Here we offer you a video overview of the last two days of the festival as the culmination of a tremendous success.
First of all, the tribute of the dancers of the Malandain ballet Biarritz to their director during an evening organized for this purpose in a former Basque pelota hall.
On stage, everyone took the floor, to tell an anecdote, share a memory, before performing, solo or in an ensemble, an extract from the most beautiful ballets created by the troupe.

The next day, in an absolutely packed Midi station, the Ballet de Genève, now under the direction of Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, enchanted the public, who gave it thunderous applause.
This without forgetting the smallest high-quality forms such as
Salam
by the energetic company NGC25, or this delicate and nuanced self-portrait by Roméo Bron Bi which recounts his migration both geographically from the Ivory Coast to Europe and artistic through all forms of dance.
Without forgetting the incredible performance of Chloé Moglia with her solo 6 meters above the ground in front of the casino and the sea horizon.
