The president of South Korea found himself at the center of a public uproar last night, following a harsh statement against members of Congress in the United States, which was caught on a microphone.
The president, Yoon Seok Yeol, met with the president of the United States, Joe Biden, at an event of the World Fund, an international body that deals with the fight against epidemics such as AIDS and malaria in developing countries.
In a video published, among other things, on Korean television, Yoon is seen after the meeting with Biden telling his aides: "It will be so embarrassing for Biden if these fuckers in the National Assembly don't approve the law."
His intention, apparently, is to the legislators in the US Congress.

This diplomatic incident is just one in a series of incidents that have drawn intense criticism of Ion.

The liberal opposition party in Korea took advantage of the opportunity and attacked Yoon saying that the diplomatic incidents associated with his name are repeated again and again because he is a leader without diplomatic skills.
