Essonne hospital cyberattacked: hackers released data

Hackers from the Corbeil-Essonnes hospital have published a sample of data stolen during the cyberattack. They are now threatening to publish them in full if a $10 million ransom is not paid.


The group of hackers who orchestrated a cyberattack against the southern Ile-de-France hospital center of Corbeil-Essonnes, began to disseminate data on Friday, the hospital having refused to pay the requested ransom, we learned on Sunday from a source close to the case.

The hackers had set an ultimatum for the hospital to pay the ransom on September 23.

The deadline expired, they released a series of data, added the source close to the file confirming information from the specialized site Zataz.
