After Green Councilor Sina Kiel resigned her mandate for professional reasons in the summer, Anette Sharmatinat was sworn in as her successor by Mayor Rainer Streu (AWG).
The 51-year-old was born in Horb am Neckar and is a bookseller by trade - she manages the branch of the Rupprecht bookstore in SemptPark in Aufhausen.

Her husband Thorsten has been on the board since May 2020.
A green town center with a park instead of taking up space for new, unnecessary buildings, safe bike paths and a speed limit of 30 throughout the town - "that's my dream for foresters," was Anette Sharmatinat's credo during the election campaign.
