Every evening, facing a splendid view of the city and Mount Ararat in the background, hundreds of people come to train in first aid, self-defense and military strategy at Voma, one of the training centers existing paramilitary force in Armenia, which has already trained nearly 100,000 people in recent years.
A year ago, Nanée Avetissian, a law student, marched on the catwalks proudly wearing her Miss Armenia scarf.
Today, if her nails are still perfectly manicured, the young woman of 25 years is dressed in a khaki T-shirt and a military fatigues.

Our reality has changed and we have to adapt.
It's hard and very tiring all these workouts obviously.
But we have no choice, we have to know how to defend ourselves in a country like ours, threatened by war.
