The technical workshops of the Tartous General Electricity Company have installed transformers of various capacities in various regions of the governorate, in order to improve the performance of the electrical network.
The director of the company, Engineer Abdel Hamid Mansour, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that 11 transformers with a capacity of 200 kVA, 9 transformers with a capacity of 400 kVA, 9 transformers with a capacity of 100 kVA, and an antenna transmission center with a capacity of 100 kVA, were installed, distributed in various locations. Mansour indicated that the capacity of the two transformers of the automatic oven in Baniyas and Ram Terza has been raised from 200 kVA to 400 kVA, and a pre-fabricated conversion center with a capacity of 1000 kVA has been installed in the western Ghamka in Tartous, pointing out that maintenance workshops continue to install new transformers and equipment.
