Muhammad Karimi, head of the Public Prosecution and the Islamic Revolution Courts in the city of Sari, Mazandaran Province, northern Iran, announced the arrest of a number of ISIS and Komala terrorists during the riots in the province in recent days.
In a statement today, Karimi indicated that 450 rioters were arrested in Mazandaran province and referred to the judiciary for the crimes they committed during the recent events.
Yesterday, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that it had thwarted an attempt to carry out bombing operations in the city of Tabriz, the center of the northwestern province of East Azerbaijan, coinciding with the recent riots.
