Josef Bierschneider gets 95.04 percent in the fourth solo - turnout only 28.4 percent

An election thriller looks different.
Josef Bierschneider (CSU) ran for the fourth time unopposed in the mayoral elections in Kreuth.
He got 95.04 percent with a turnout of 28.76 percent

It wasn't a choice, it was a confirmation.
Josef Bierschneider picked them up on Sunday (September 25th).
The result reflects the support of the mayor of Kreuth in the population: 95.04 percent.
"I'm really happy," said Bierschneider in the evening.
The result was an incentive for him to "continue to work for the community of Kreuth," he promised.
Bierschneider (50) has been in office for 24 years.
He sees the fact that the other factions have refrained from submitting their own applicants for the fourth time as a vote of confidence.
The only exciting thing about the voting was the question of voter turnout.
This time it is only 28.76 percent.
In 2016 it was 32.09 percent.
A total of 852 Kreuthers went to the polls.
The number of valid votes is 786. The result was known at 6:45 p.m.
