A mountaineering accident occurred at the Sky Cliff in Mitong Rock Stream on Lantau Island. A surnamed Lu (65 years old) fell into a coma and was rescued by a helicopter and sent to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

His father was the famous jeweler and philanthropist Lu Jiacong. He and his younger brother Lu Jiazu established Fuheng Jewelry Co., Ltd. in Hong Kong as a joint venture in 1944.
After Lu Jiacong retired in 2014, Fuheng Jewelry Co., Ltd. was taken over by the second generation of the family, with Lu Zhonghui as the chairman.
