An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale hit the coastal province of Sarangani in the southeast of the Philippines today.
The US Geological Survey stated that the tremor occurred at a depth of 134.9 km, with no reports of material damage or casualties, or the issuance of tsunami warnings.
