Alexander Malevich, deputy head of the Coordination Group of the Russian Social Council, announced that more than 100 observers from 40 countries are observing the referendum in Donbass, Zaporozhye and Kherson.
"More than 100 international observers from 40 countries are monitoring the conduct of voting in the referendum," Malkevich said at a press conference today, according to RIA Novosti.
Malkevich pointed out that "fake information is now being published claiming that Ukraine has a list of foreign observers, but in reality this is a deception and there is only a list of countries participating in the monitoring, and the observers themselves actively appear on television and make comments," stressing that his country is ready for all provocations.
