A 22-year-old man was sentenced to six years in prison before the Pyrénées-Atlantiques minors' assize court for intentional violence that led to the unintentional death of a 30-year-old in 2018 in Pau, learned the AFP Sunday, September 25 with the prosecution.
Another 20-year-old man, accused of violence with the use or threat of a weapon, was released after a trial which took place behind closed doors for five days until Friday.

Both were minors at the time.
On May 18, 2018, the victim, a 32-year-old man born in Burkina Faso and of French nationality, was found beaten to death in a playground in the heart of the Zaragoza district in Pau.
“The potential fatal blow”
Several witnesses then declared that a dozen teenagers had attacked him violently and that some of them had dealt him many blows while he was on the ground.
