Plane crash near Gera: large contingent of fire brigade

There was a plane crash on the outskirts of Gera in Thuringia.
Details were initially unclear.
The police, fire brigade and rescue service have been in action since early Saturday evening, according to the Gera State Police Inspectorate.
"According to current knowledge, two aircraft crashed," it said in a statement.
Gera - "The exact circumstances of the accident are the subject of the immediately initiated criminal investigations." There was initially no further information.
The police inspection was initially not available by phone.
