According to the Population and Immigration Authority data, the first name of 20,407 people in Israel is Bracha, 8,511 are called Yona, 806 people boast the name Rimon and 241 are called "Shana".

There are also 191 people with the name Honey, and seven people with the name Apple.

As mentioned, the leading name among these names is Bracha, which belongs to 20,379 women and only 28 men.

As for the name Jonah, there is almost equality: 4,581 women bear the name, compared to 3,930 men.

Devash Plotkin, 23, a resident of Tel Aviv who works permanently, says: "It is my mother who is behind the idea of ​​calling me Honey. My older sister, by the way, is called Tsuf. I really like my name. I am always asked if I would like to change my name. I prefer If they call me Honey than Itay or Guy, it's a unique name. You immediately remember this name and it's easier to connect and bond."

In your childhood, were you bullied by children because of your special name?

"Kids always bully, but it wasn't to the point that it crossed the line of good taste. I grew up in Meshgav and around me there were special names like Sela. In fact, about 40 percent of the children had special names, so I didn't feel different. Besides, as someone whose name it is, You don't think about it every day."

"I don't think I'll call them a name from the content world of Rosh Hashanah and honey, but I'm sure it will be a special name."

Rimon, who has pomegranate trees in the yard of her parents' house, says that "My parents decided to name me Pomegranate because it is a tree from the Land of Israel. My brothers are called Shaked and Ella, which are also names of trees from the Land of Israel. "When I was a child it was difficult for me sometimes, because people didn't understand what I was saying, and it sometimes became a joke, for example, they called me Lemon. Today I love my name very much. It is a very special name and I really like its meaning and the connection to nature. I never thought of changing it."

"I like pomegranate, but not in an unusual way. What's more, it's very healthy."
