He resigned because of a plagiarism scandal.

Now he is celebrating his television comeback on RTL – with Thomas Gottschalk.

Cologne – At the end of each year, the annual review “People, Pictures, Emotions” runs on RTL.

Until last year, Günther Jauch (66) had always moderated this.

Now the broadcaster is relying on an unusual replacement: the ex-defense minister Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg (50, CSU) is to take over the show on December 11 together with Thomas Gottschalk (72).

As RTL announced, Guttenberg is now under contract with the television station.

In the meantime, there have always been speculations about a possible comeback, but so far they have come to nothing.
