The head of the grain silos center in Izraa Anwar Al-Farwan said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the sterilization operations that started about a week ago were imposed by necessities related to the heat wave that passed through the governorate and to improve the reality of storage within warehouses, indicating that the center is working to supply the Yarmouk mill with wheat necessary for its work within specifications and quality. required.
He added that the total wheat that was brought into the silos of Izraa through purchases at the beginning of the marketing season has reached 31,903 tons, with a balance in favor of the branch of the Foundation for Seed Multiplication of 6,088 tons, indicating that wheat purchases from farmers continue on Sunday and Wednesday of each week.
The storage capacity of Izraa silos reaches 100,000 tons.
