The traffic department asks drivers to be patient, drive with caution, according to the road conditions and avoid distracting actions while driving.

"Please note that even on the days of Kippur there are security and rescue vehicles on the roads. You should avoid driving bicycles and electric tools on the intercity routes and on the expressway."

During the holiday and Hol HaMoed (Sukkot), as mentioned, traffic congestion is expected on the main roads and intercity roads.

The preparation of the traffic division will include the deployment of police forces, mobility and motorcycles in the field, in order to direct the traffic and allow, as much as possible, free and safe movement for road users.
