A robbery occurred in Changhong Village, Tsing Yi.
At about 6 pm today (25th), a neighbor was robbed by a thief with a knife in the rest area on the ground floor of Hongyi Building.
The victim fought hard against the thieves and successfully escaped into the Hongyi Building. He immediately went upstairs and returned to the apartment to call the police.
According to the on-site news, the thief lingered in the vicinity after the defeat, and waited for an opportunity to rob another neighbor on the way to Hongxin Building, during which the male victim and the thief were entangled.
A large number of police officers rushed to the scene after receiving the report and found that the male victim was injured in the mouth. After a round of interception, a thief was arrested downstairs in Hongxin Building, and a sharp knife was seized. The suspect was then taken back to the police station for investigation.
