“My workplace has completely gone up in smoke.

This order picker is one of the 230 employees of Halles Mandar, the largest fruit and vegetable wholesaler at Rungis National Interest Market (MIN).

Like every morning, she came to take up her post at the warehouse on Monday.

Except that it is nothing more than a pile of burnt metal sheets and debris.
