Thousands of Russians, the vast majority of them young men, have fled to Georgia since the announcement of a partial military mobilization.

The words in Russian fall as hard as rain on the cobblestones of Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.

This Saturday afternoon, in the crowded center, umbrellas brush against new arrivals in sneakers and hoodies.

In groups of two or three people, they look for a currency exchange office, a SIM card and a future, in this former satellite of the USSR, where the monumental statue of Lenin was enthroned for a long time.
