Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian discussed with the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Syria Geir Pedersen the latest developments on the ground and the political developments in Syria.
According to the Iranian IRNA news agency, Abdollahian called on Pedersen to focus on humanitarian issues in Syria.
Abdullahian is accompanying Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi to the 77th summit meeting of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
