Crashed into tree: man seriously injured in accident in Großweil.

Großweil - A 44-year-old man from Fürstenfeldbruck crashed his car into a tree near Großweil on Monday morning for an unknown reason.

The BMW driver suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Murnau Accident Clinic.

The Fürstenfeldbruck resident was alone in the car when, according to the police, he was traveling on the state road from the Murnau/Kochel motorway junction in the direction of Großweil at around 8.50 a.m. and got off the road at about the level of the industrial park.

The Kochel fire brigade, which was alerted in addition to the rescuers from Großweil, describes on their Facebook page that the trapped 44-year-old had to be freed from the car with heavy hydraulic equipment.

The first step was to remove undergrowth from around the car with a chainsaw.

Together with the locally responsible colleagues from Großweil, the roof was removed with two rescue kits.

The Großweiler emergency services got the injured person out of the car together with the rescue service.

The amount of damage is around 19,000 euros, and the Murnau police are investigating.
