Hundreds of people demonstrated in northeastern Germany, demanding the operation of a gas pipeline (North Stream 2), which transports gas from Russia to their country.
The Sky News network reported that demonstrators in the northeastern city of Lubmin raised the Russian flags, and banners rejecting American gas as an alternative to Russian gas, which read: (America's gas no) and (Nord Stream 2 gas yes), and they also demanded the government to leave.
In turn, said Martin Klein, one of the organizers of the demonstration: Germany has a long-term agreement with Russia, it buys gas at cheap prices.
Hundreds of people demonstrated in Cologne, western Germany, on the fifth of this month, to demand that Berlin stop supporting the regime in Ukraine and cancel the sanctions it imposed on Russia.
