Krailling - The Gautinger patrol crew meets an unusual team in Krailling-Pentenried.
A man in Bavarian costume is on the road with a bike and a child trailer and shows signs of failure.
On Friday, around 9.40 p.m., a patrol noticed an unusual team on Kraillinger Straße, the police reported.
It was coming from Gauting towards Pentenried.
The team was unusual because a man in Bavarian costume on a bicycle with a child trailer was traveling very quickly and with obvious typical alcohol-related failures.
Man drives alternately on the street and on the sidewalk
These failures could be recognized by the fact that the man alternately drove both on the road and on the sidewalk and even threatened to fall several times during these maneuvers.
So it was clear to the Gautingen police officers that he was not really in control of his bike, which the police officers identified as an e-bike when overtaking.
As a result, they stopped the cyclist and carried out a traffic check on him.
It quickly became clear that he was obviously heavily intoxicated.
The subsequent alcohol test confirmed the suspicion, as it showed more than two per thousand.
Cyclist is brought home by the Gautinger police
The 49-year-old man then had to undergo a blood test in the Gautinger Fünfseenlandklinik.
After the end of this measure, the man and his e-bike team were brought home by the Gauting police.
The consequences of this bicycle ride with over 1.6 per thousand are sensitive and should be reflected for the 49-year-old in the form of a sensitive fine including the withdrawal of a driver's license and a summons to the MPU as well as three points in the traffic offenders file in Flensburg.
