The president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, arrived this Monday morning in Cúcuta, capital of the department of Norte de Santander, to formalize the reopening of the border between Colombia and Venezuela.
The reopening ceremony, in which the Colombian ambassador in Caracas, Armando Benedetti, is also present, has generated many expectations for millions of Colombians and Venezuelans who live on both sides of the border.
