SURVEY – While Emmanuel Macron wants to double the number of students there by 2030, these establishments are struggling to compete with their Anglo-Saxon and Spanish counterparts.

At the start of the 2022 academic year, there are 566 French high schools abroad to educate 390,000 students, from kindergarten to baccalaureate.

Will they manage, by 2030, to reach the target of 700,000, set four years ago by President Macron?
