Liouba Chenesseau is smiling.
This Franco-Russian is the mother of two students from the Lycée français Alexandre-Dumas in Moscow (LFM), one in CM1, the other in CP.
For them, against all expectations, the start of the new school year went well.
After six months of “remote” school, - a consequence of the “special military operation” in Ukraine -, his children and their little friends had the joy of meeting “in real life”.
A big relief for families facing a long period of uncertainty about the future of the establishment.
"We only had confirmation of the reopening of the school in August
," says Liouba Chenesseau, also secretary of the LFM parents' association.
Admittedly, the war continues and the atmosphere remains charged in Moscow.
However, on September 2, six hundred and seventy students, from kindergarten to terminale, as well as the entire teaching staff responded.
