The adult education center in Herrsching-Seefeld-Andechs presents an extensive program for the winter.
Over 560 courses are on offer - it is the last before the merger with the VHS Starnberger See.
Herrsching
– The adult education center (VHS) Herrsching-Seefeld-Andechs is offering 561 courses for the upcoming winter semester.
It is an ambitious program that relies on presence, but also offers many courses online.
The new program booklet is available in the usual places, most courses start on Tuesday, October 4th.
In its offer, the VHS Herrsching relies on current topics as well as on tried and tested.
In addition to the popular language courses, including Chinese, Bavarian and new Croatian, there are evenings dealing with cryptocurrencies, the ongoing digitization of the world of work or how to turn your hobby into a job - there is a wide range that the users expected.
The VHS website is also new.
Those responsible divide the courses into several areas: in addition to languages, work or health, there are the subject areas of society, culture and consumer education.
The “Young VHS” area is new: Pupils can take the “Learn vocabulary by the second” course or perfect mental arithmetic.
Or follow one of the "5 ways to a perfect memory".
There is also an alpaca day in Eching or skateboard courses in Aufkirchen.
Two new offerings are aimed at young people and adults: a workshop on so-called fake news and a workshop on hate speech on the Internet.
For smaller children, those responsible for the VHS have prepared an afternoon for detectives and secret agents, as well as a space and rocket workshop.
Among the new courses are an evening entitled “Happiness Can Be Eaten”, a money day entitled “Money and Me” and a basic ballet course for adult beginners.
The latter offer in particular shows how a course at the VHS manages to broaden one's own horizon - where can one pursue an old dream calmly and without pressure for relatively little money?
Some courses, such as the VHS ring talk as a policy for everyone, have already been created in cooperation with the VHS Starnberger See.
