The local council in the village of Ain Hour in the Damascus countryside has completed the installation of 25 solar-powered lighting devices, to light the main streets of the village.
In a statement to SANA reporter, the head of the council, Hassan Diab, explained that the installation of solar energy devices in the village was carried out in cooperation with an international organization.
Regarding transportation, the head of the council stated that the demands of the people were met, and a bus for internal transportation was allocated, which operates at a rate of two trips per day.
The Investment Authority had granted a license to implement a tourism project in the village of Ain Hor in the Humairat region, with an estimated cost of 24 billion, on an area of 18 acres. The project provides 125 job opportunities, consisting of swimming pools, restaurants, bungalows, and playgrounds for adults and children with its services.
