The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs today (Monday) condemned Israel for the "escalating and ongoing violations committed by extremists in the invasion of the Al-Aqsa Mosque" and the Temple Mount, and the permission for them to carry out "provocative acts that violate his honor" while being protected by the Israeli police.
The spokesman for the Jordanian Foreign Ministry said that the increasing escalation of the violations, which includes the imposition of conditions on Muslim worshipers who enter the mosque, is a scandalous violation of international law and the status quo on the mountain.
Spokesman Haitham Abu al-Ful also warned against "the attacks on the holy places which express a dangerous direction", and warned against escalation.

The Jordanian Foreign Ministry claimed that the entire Temple Mount is a place of worship for Muslims only and the Waqf management is the only legal entity.
The speaker also demanded that Israel "stop all measures designed to change the status quo."
