The four suspects were identified shortly after the crime, reports 24RHEIN.

"According to the current status of the investigation, the 22-year-old man was on Harkortstrasse when he was attacked by four males for reasons that have not yet been clarified.
According to witnesses, the perpetrators grabbed the man, threw him against a parked car and punched and kicked him," police said.

Shortly after the crime, investigators were able to identify the four suspects.
Three of the men, aged 17, 18 and 21, were picked up and identified in a hotel.
The fourth suspect was provisionally arrested at Düsseldorf Central Station.
He was released after police action was completed, police said.
The investigations continue.
There was also an act of violence in Essen on Sunday, September 25.
A 45-year-old was critically injured there in front of the Essen town hall.
Here, too, the police were able to arrest a suspect.
